New Menus, New Website

New Menus, New Website

We are just completing a batch of developments at Kava in time for Christmas with our Winter menus, a raft of new evening events and this new website.

The world of retail and hospitality is both exciting and demanding so nobody can stand still. The Waterside district of the town will see a host of new businesses opening in the New Year too including the permanent residency of the popular pop up Yakumama in The Old Coop next door. Bienvenido Yakumama! Waterside spreads south from under the wonderful Classical Relief on the back of the Town Hall (as pictured) facing Water Street and encompasses the Rochdale Canal and the river. Since we first took over Kava in January 2017 we have listened carefully and worked hard to develop a sustainable business that can also help the community innovation going on in this magical town that brings people to Todmorden and Kava from all over the world. Think Incredible Edible, Pushing up Daisies and ‘Incredible Inedible’ aka Todmorden in Bloom ;-).

We endeavour to help wherever we can, as an employer, purchaser, meeting place, venue and catalyst for conversations and relationships without which nothing genuine and sustainable can grow. Coincidentally, we are delighted to announce that as of this week beginning 26 November we buy our dairy milk and free range eggs from local farmers Graham and Sue Davy-Day.

This new website is designed to be a showcase for the people and businesses we work with in Todmorden as well as for Kava. New pages and carousels featuring our favourite local businesses will be added as we go forward. So if you have a project that you believe would benefit from online exposure here then get in touch. If it is about #KindIndustry then we wish to help.
